Vehicle design in 3D for entertainment | by Darko Markovic DARMAR
This tutorial shows how Darko Markovic DARMAR (www.itsadarmar.com) thinks while designing Army Medical Truck in 3D.
Design is all about problems solving, which means each part of the design needs to be designed with logic to it.
We will go from brief, through basic proportion that will lead us throughout function/shape design solving and finally to the final design.
The tutorial focuses on logic and thinking processes while you design a land vehicle.
Principles can be used in 2D design also.
More than 45 hours of design have been sped up to a length of 1h30min that is narrated in 9 chapters. Each out of 9 unique narrated chapters covers a different topic and talks about the approach you should take while designing and making a vehicle a coherent design.
We will be using 90% of the time Blender 3D for design and 10% Zbrush and Keyshot3D. However main design principles and workflow can be used in any Sub-D and rendering program.
Even though we do cover basic principles of 3D shortly, basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering is needed to understand this tutorial fully.
